Garde Capital Portfolio Changes in June 2026

As of June 30th, 2026, Garde Capital, Inc. has seen its portfolio value increase to $2.21 billion.

The investment strategy this quarter appears focused on broadening exposure through fund purchases, with no large sell-offs reported for the period ending June 30th.

Purchase Activity Dominates

Garde Capital significantly increased its holdings in several Vanguard and iShares funds during Q2 2026. The largest purchase was a staggering 100% increase in shares of the Vanguard Balanced Index Fund (BND), adding exactly 1,807,800 shares.

This was followed by substantial additions to other fixed-income and index funds. The Vanguard Short-Term Bond Fund (VMBS) saw its position grow by 100%, adding over one million shares, while the Vanguard Term Bond ETF (VTEB), iShares Municap Bond Fund (MUB), and the Schwab Strategic Allocation Fund (SCHP) all experienced 100% share increases.

The investor also notably boosted its position in the popular Vanguard U.S. Growth ETF (VUG), increasing shares by over two million, representing a 504% jump from the previous quarter.

Additionally, Garde Capital purchased new positions in funds like Vanguard Short-Term Corporate Bond Fund (VGSH), adding 100% more shares, and the Zillow Group Inc. stock position increased by a significant 21%, though it remains relatively small at just $65 million.

The investor also added to its holdings in international equity and other index funds, including the Vanguard International Equity Fund (VGK) and the iShares Core World Government Bond ETF (IWF), which saw a 298% increase in shares.

In contrast, there was no evidence of large-scale selling activities within the portfolio during this quarter. While some individual holdings like Zillow saw a decrease (though still linked as part of its change), none were classified as significant sells by Garde Capital.

The portfolio's structure remains heavily weighted towards fixed-income and index funds, with the largest allocation being to Vanguard Balanced Funds at 88.33% ($2 billion). Technology and Communication Services sectors also feature prominently in the holdings.
