Nomura Asset Management International Inc. has released its portfolio data for the second quarter ending June 30, 2026, revealing a dynamic investment strategy focused on specific sectors.

Technology remained a core area of interest despite some adjustments. The firm significantly increased its position in Lam Research Corporation (LRCX), adding over 872% worth approximately $724 million more than the previous quarter's value for that holding, boosting its portfolio allocation to about 1.09%. Eli Lilly & Co (LLY) also saw a substantial purchase, with shares increasing by nearly 263%, valued at around $567 million in this period.

Within Technology, Nomura maintained strong positions in NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA), Microsoft Corp (MSFT), Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (AMD), and STMicroelectronics N.V. (STM). However, the firm reduced its stake in TAIWAN SEMICONDUCTOR MANUFAC (TSM) by about 5.73%, valued at roughly $162 million less than the prior period.

The Financial Services sector experienced notable activity as well. Nomura significantly bolstered Banco Bradesco S.A. (BBD), adding over 18% in terms of portfolio allocation, which translates to approximately $79 million more invested during this quarter. Conversely, the firm reduced its position in Old National Bancorp IND (ONB) by nearly 20%, valued at about $199 million less than previously held.

Elsewhere, Nomura demonstrated a preference for specific opportunities within other sectors. The investment in Booking Holdings Inc. (BKNG) surged dramatically, adding over 290% worth approximately $473 million more during the quarter. AMBEV SA (ABEV), CEMEX SA EURO MTN BE 144A (CX), and Denali Therapeutics Inc. (DNLI) also showed significant growth in their portfolios.

On the other hand, exits were noted for certain holdings. The position in MDU Res Group Inc. (MDU) was drastically reduced by about 83.95%, valued at roughly $8.8 million less than before. Similarly, substantial reductions occurred in AT&T INC (T), IShares TR GOVT Bond ETF (GOVT), and VANGUARD Scottsdale FDS Fund (VONG).
