Stordahl Capital Management Q2 2026 Portfolio Activity: Major Buys in Vanguard ETFs

As of June 30, 2026, Stordahl Capital Management's portfolio held assets worth $545.9 million, dominated by holdings from Vanguard ETF Trust (DFAS) and Vanguard Index Funds (VOO). The firm maintained a diversified approach across various sectors.

Stordahl Capital Management demonstrated significant buying activity this quarter, particularly favoring shares of Vanguard Admiral Fund Class Shares Inc. (VOOV), which saw an increase in holdings from the prior period. This was followed closely by substantial purchases of Vanguard Index Funds (VOO) and Vanguard Balanced Index Funds (BND).

The most notable purchase involved VANGUARD ADMIRAL FDS INC (VOOV). The fund increased its stake significantly, acquiring an additional 4,286 shares. This move pushed the allocation for this holding to a substantial 10.03% of the portfolio.

Another major buying action occurred with VANGUARD INDEX FDS (VOO), where Stordahl added -744 fewer shares than previously held, representing an increase in position size despite a slight reduction in share count (-0.51%). This ETF remains one of the largest positions at 18.4%.

Furthermore, the firm significantly boosted its position in VANGUARD BD INDEX FDS (BND), adding 31,774 shares and increasing its allocation to 7.45%. The company also purchased a considerable amount of Vanguard Admiral Fund Class Shares Inc. (VOOG), acquiring an additional 207,563 shares which increased the position's value significantly.

On the other side of the spectrum, Stordahl Capital Management made notable adjustments elsewhere in its portfolio. The firm sold a portion of its holdings in ISHARES TR (STIP), reducing the stake by 14,931 shares (-7.04%) and decreasing its allocation to 4.25%. This was one of several changes observed during the quarter.

Additionally, while not a large position, Stordahl also purchased Vanguard Scottsdale Fund Institutional Shares (VCSH), adding 13,705 shares with a 7.5% increase in that specific holding's allocation.

The overall portfolio strategy appears focused on core holdings within the Dimensional ETF Trust and Vanguard Index Funds families, while selectively incorporating individual stocks like Microsoft Corp (MSFT) into its structure.
