Temasek Holdings demonstrated a strong focus on technology stocks this quarter, evidenced by significant purchases of Alphabet Inc (GOOGL) and its A shares (GOOG). According to the data from insiderset.com, they increased their stake in Alphabet Inc substantially, acquiring an additional 7.07 million shares compared to the prior period.

The investor's holdings of Alphabet Inc (GOOGL) grew by approximately 283% in value during Q2 2026 alone, driven by this large share increase. Similarly, their position in Broadcom Inc (AVGO) also saw a significant boost with an increase of over 200,000 shares and a corresponding rise in value.

Temasek Holdings also showed interest in other tech sectors. They initiated or increased their position in VNET Group Inc (VNET) by acquiring nearly 2 million new shares, and purchased a substantial number of shares (1.74 million) in Nokia Corporation (NOK).

In the Financial Services sector, which holds a significant allocation within Temasek's portfolio, they maintained their position in Mastercard Inc (MA) while slightly reducing holdings of BlackRock Inc (BLK). Furthermore, Temasek Holdings bolstered its holdings of Booking Holdings Inc (BKNG) and Amer Sports Inc (AS). The purchase of Booking Holdings Inc was particularly large, adding over 1.65 million shares to their existing position.

The investor also noted activity in other areas like Healthcare and Industrials, acquiring positions in Merck & Co Inc (MRK) and GE Healthcare Technologies Inc (GEHC), respectively. Conversely, they exited their position in Western Digital Corporation (WDC) entirely.
